VViViD Vinyls presents the newest evolution in vinyl wrap technology. Our Ultra Gloss range is the result of years of research and development, culminating in an almost mirror-like Gloss that is virtually indistinguishable from a factory paint job.
To achieve the Ultra Gloss look, VViViD re-designed every aspect of car-wrap vinyl from the ground up. The result is a range of films packed with new technologies to create a stunningly beautiful finish. Conventional vinyl wraps can look good, but Ultra Gloss takes it to the next level.
Like the other VViViD wraps, the Ultra Gloss series is DIY friendly and easy to use. With the right conditions you can wrap your vehicle in the comfort of your own home. For the fraction of the time and resources it would take to paint your car, you can change the entire look and feel of your vehicle!
The Candy films are only exclusively a part of the Ultra-Gloss line. Candy colors are packed with metallic flakes and will offer an intense, deep, wet metallic finish. While the metallic flakes reduce the overall reflectivity of the material, it is still leaps and bounds glossier than any regular wrap film.
1. Clay bar: Originally, clay bars have not been necessary for car wraps but with the increase in finish clarity, small specs and surface contaminants will show through exponentially. Although still not necessary for the integrity of the wrap, it's highly suggested for added surface clarity.
2. Nano Air-release is there to enhance the finish of the product however it may be harder to remove trapped air on large surfaces. It is suggested to apply the film while holding excess material off the surface. This will prevent trapped air and distortions in film. In the event of bubbles, press the bubble softly or puncture to let air out.
3. Stretchable cap: The stretch cap can be installed without removing throughout the entire wrap process. It is important to note that the cap removes pliability of the film by about 18% meaning, it's performance will be at 82% whereas the uncapped film is at 100%. For precision cutting, seams and joints, make sure you remove the cap in those areas.
